The 4th International Forum on Special Economic Area, held as part of the 2nd Moscow Investment and Industrial Forum (October 21–26, 2026), has concluded in Moscow. The team from Rosatom IntelMash LLC (a subsidiary of Rosatom Service JSC, the Electric Power Division of the Rosatom State Corporation) presented a robotic solution at the booth of the Dubna Special Economic Area (SEA “Dubna”) as part of a joint exhibition featuring Russia leading special economic areas. Rosatom IntelMash LLC is actively developing its own production and testing infrastructure within Dubna SEA—the company facilities are located in Titan State Industrial Park with the aim of creating in-demand robotics products for various industrial sectors.

The “Dubna” Special Economic Area exhibition showcased residents’ innovations in industrial manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and information technology. The companies’ participation in the forum was aimed at demonstrating the scientific and industrial potential of Russia special economic areas, developing cooperative connections and promoting high-tech products.

The centerpiece of the demonstration was a robotic system for the automated dispensing of chocolate based on AIM M7-D759 industrial robot. The interactive format of the exhibition allowed visitors to learn about how an industrial robot works and to clearly see the potential applications of robotics for automating operations involving the movement, positioning and release of products.

The solution presented sparked interest among forum participants and demonstrated the versatility of modern industrial robots, which can be used to perform a wide range of manufacturing tasks—from servicing production equipment to automating assembly, welding and logistics operations.

“Today, industrial robotics is becoming one of the key tools for increasing labor productivity and driving process development at enterprises. Our goal is not simply to offer customers an industrial robot, but to ensure the creation of a comprehensive solution integrated into a specific production process. Participating in such events allows us to demonstrate the capabilities of modern technologies to a wide audience and contributes to the development of industrial cooperation. “Even a scenario as simple and easy to understand as the automated dispensing of chocolate clearly demonstrates the precision, flexibility, and versatility of an industrial robot” noted Alexander Petrov, Commercial Director of Rosatom IntelMash LLC.

As part of the forum’s business program, representatives of government agencies, development institutions, and the business community discussed issues related to investment attractiveness, the development of industrial infrastructure, increasing labor productivity and creating conditions for scaling up knowledge-intensive manufacturing.

The Electric Power Division of Rosatom State Corporation is the largest producer of low-carbon electric power in Russia. Rosenergoatom Concern JSC, the Division management company, operates 10 functioning nuclear power plants, including the world’s only floating nuclear power plant (FNPP). 34 power units with a total capacity of about 29.8 GW generate about 19 % of electricity in Russia. Division enterprises provide a full range of services for commissioning, repair, maintenance and training of personnel for nuclear power units; they produce isotopes for medicine, agriculture and microelectronics; new areas of activity are actively developing within its framework (development of a network of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, biogas stations, production of industrial robots, etc.).

Rosatom Service JSC (part of the Electric Power Division of Rosatom State Corporation) provides servicing to energy facilities in various power industries. The company is present in almost every country with operating VVER NPP outside Russia. The geography of Rosatom Service JSC projects covers more than 15 countries around the world, from Europe to Asia. The references of Rosatom Service JSC include comprehensive projects for service life extension, maintenance and repair, supply of equipment and SPTA, nuclear infrastructure, consulting services, and training. Since 2022, the company has been actively developing the areas of renewable energy: small hydropower, biogas reactors, landfill gas. The BOOТ (build-own-operate-trade) model is implemented as a priority. Rosatom Service JSC references in the renewable energy sources sector include the design of a cascade of hydroelectric power plants in Bulgaria, HPP for an isolated power consumer in Kyrgyzstan, and the supply of equipment for the Segozerskaya HPP in Karelia. In the near future, the company is also planning to take the position of a key business participant in the construction of high-capacity bioreactors, implementing the Rosatom State Corporation’s development strategy using “green energy”. As part of the “Robotics” business line, the company offers services for the design and manufacture of robotic systems and other non-standard equipment for nuclear industry enterprises and beyond. rosatom-service.ru
