The event brought together experts in engineering design and mathematical simulation from the oil and gas, energy, mechanical engineering, petrochemical, and aerospace industries

The annual REPEAT VISION CONF conference took place in Moscow on September 17, 2026: Digital twins and engineering simulation: from theory to practice” organized by Engineering and Technology Center GET Joint-Stock Company (JSC ETC GET a subsidiary of Rosatom Service JSC,  the Electric Power Division of the Rosatom State Corporation).

The event focused on the development of digital technologies, as well as the practical implementation of engineering solutions, domestic platforms, and training systems.

The conference participants learned about IT solutions for mathematical simulation of complex systems, including approaches that involve integrating engineering problems with the software implementation of control systems and digital twins. Experts explained how such tools improve the operational efficiency of business processes.

“It is important for us not only to introduce domestic digital solutions, but also to demonstrate their practical value through real-world examples—from training specialists to optimizing production processes. Digital twins and mathematical simulation are becoming important tools to improve the efficiency and reliability of manufacturing processes. However, the field of mathematical simulation is not yet sufficiently represented on the professional agenda. Therefore, 3 years ago we decided to create a platform that would allow to unite specialists and discuss the development of mathematical simulation, training complexes and digital twins. Such an interindustrial exchange of experience helps to form a unified understanding of tasks of digitalization and find effective ways to solve them"said Alexey Kovalevich, General Director of ETC GET JSC.

The conference was held in the format of two parallel sessions, each of which focused on a separate area of   digitalization of industry. During the first session, the participants discussed the capabilities of REPEAT VISION platform, a domestic solution for end-to-end engineering simulation and the creation of digital twins from ETC GET JSC. The speakers presented new platform functionality, including integration with artificial intelligence technologies, spoke about the mathematical foundations of REPEAT VISION kernel and touched upon the organizational aspects of the solution implementation - from validation of digital twins to integration into a single digital circuit. The cases of using the platform in the educational process and the experience of using REPEAT VISION to conduct virtual equipment tests were also presented.

"The practical effect of using the platform is to reduce the volume of field tests, reduce the cost of creating test benches. At the same time, we are constantly looking for a balance between platform versatility and industry specifics. Among the key areas of development of REPEAT VISION is the integration of artificial intelligence technologies, as well as the creation of specialized industry libraries. The strategic priority for the coming years is to further develop our own mathematical core and increase its productivity in order to speed up calculations and make virtual tests even more effective” said Sergey Bukreev, Deputy General Director for Digital Technologies of ETC GET JSC.

The second session was devoted to capabilities of the digital enterprise management platform, which helps to turn disparate production data into a single picture for managers and technology specialists. Participants also discussed tools for forecasting and optimizing processes, VR/AR immersive technologies for industry, use of artificial intelligence in mathematical simulation, new generation simulators for chemical industries, energy and low-power nuclear power plants.

In the demo area, conference visitors could familiarize themselves with the operation of systems in demo mode and test key scenarios in real time.

"This time the conference has become more mathematical and engineering - in this it differs from the last one. This is an interesting trend: we began to pay more attention to the substantive and technical side of the projects, and not just their economic aspects” said Nikolai Kiselev, chief designer of NIITFA JSC.

The conference became an effective platform for the exchange of practical experience between representatives of various industries and helped to form a professional dialogue on the further development of digital twins, mathematical simulation and domestic engineering platforms.

The Electric Power Division of Rosatom State Corporation is the largest producer of low-carbon electric power in Russia. Rosenergoatom Concern JSC, the Division management company, operates 11 functioning nuclear power plants, including the world’s only floating nuclear power plant (FNPP). 33 power units with a total capacity of 28.5 GW already generate about 19 % of electricity in Russia. Division enterprises provide a full range of services for commissioning, repair, maintenance and training of personnel for nuclear power units; they produce isotopes for medicine, agriculture and microelectronics; new areas of activity are actively developing within its framework (development of a network of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, biogas stations, production of industrial robots, etc.). www.rosenergoatom.ru

JSC Engineering and Technology Center GET (JSC ETC GET part of the Rosatom Service JSC group of companies) is a recognized leader in the field of simulator production and mathematical modeling for Russian and foreign nuclear power plants (NPP), thermal power plants (TPP), training centers (TC) and other energy facilities. Combining experience and innovation, we implement digital solutions for smooth operation of industrial facilities.  www.get-sim.ru

REPEAT VISION (Real-time Platform for Engineering Automated Technologies) is a software platform for the dynamic simulation of complex technical systems. It enables users to create digital twins of power units, conduct virtual tests, and optimize production processes. A development by JSC ETC GET that is entirely independent of imports.

In September 2026, JSC ETC GET entered into a distribution agreement with the Indian company Syngient Technologies regarding REPEAT VISION platform, which emphasizes its international significance and export potential.

The Russian industry faces the goal of ensuring process sovereignty and transition to the latest technologies in the shortest possible time. The state and large domestic companies are channeling resources to accelerate the development of the domestic research, infrastructure, and scientific and process base. The introduction of innovations and new high-tech equipment allows Rosatom and its enterprises to occupy new niches in the market, increasing the competitiveness of the nuclear industry and the Russian industry as a whole.
